Jeff, although meetings are not mandetory they do provide opportunities to lie about how good we are at riding. You may not make them all but plan on making a few a year for the planning and entertainment. Our President this year will likely serve tea and crumpetts if your into that.
I'm about as lacking in riding skill as anyone you'll ever meet. Some of the current ADR members can vouch for me.

That is where I live. Hwy 5 near the Greystone golf course. It really does not matter if you get a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke as long as it is ORANGE.

Orange! As long as somewhere on the bike it reads in big bold letters - KTM. Hey, look forward to meeting you guys and we certainly do like to have fresh faces at the meetings as Docmac said, but making some of the events we have is as important. Our next scheduled ride is New Years day at 9am. but stay tuned as we usually have a couple of warm ups before then. Get a bike for Christmas and you'll be set. I know Santa is into red and all, but he sometimes goes all out for the orange ones too!

GasGas comes in many colors blue red yellow white black no orange thought and its not Halloween anyway.They are quite small so you can touch the ground not just with your tip toes.Used they are pretty cheep.

graymule-I`ve heard of Gas Gas but haven`t seen one. Nice to hear that someone relizes not everyone has 35" inseams. Cheep or cheap is good. All the power in the world won`t help if you can`t control it.Of course my riding ability or lack of it has a lot to do with my $0.02 on the matter. Hey. I've been riding for 4,200 miles. It's my 1st bike. DR650 BLUE! It's the shortest bike I could find that's still good for the highways. I often ride it to work Cabot to Little Rock. Anyway, I've been on a couple good rides in the Ouchita's and Ozarks. Been looking for a way to contact some riding partners. Glad I found this site. I live in Cabot as well. I am on Hwy 5 out near Greystone. We do all kinds of off road riding. Some of the single track that we ride on would be a handfull for a bike of your size but we are putting on a vintage bike race on Magazine Mt. at the end of March. That riding area would be perfect for a your bike. We will be making several trips down there in the coming weeks to check the trail ect. Yea I'm at Hwy 5 and 89. I've got a heavy bike and limited experience. For now I just do the mild trails and logging roads. I was just wondering if any of you guys like doing the back country simple stuff. I rode around Haw Creek Falls in December and did a long ride out through Winona to Jessieville and back last spring.
