I had a great time riding with ADR yesterday (I was riding the XR400). It was awesome to be back here riding again with ADR. Conditions were great, couldn't have asked for a better day! Chris recorded most of the day I think with his helmet cam, should be some good stuff.
Thanks to everyone who invited me out to ride and hopefully I didn't slow anyone up too bad. Bruce and James broke me in for about 53miles, the last 5 took it out of me, I think I dumped it 3 times in 1/4mile!! :)
Can't wait to go again!

I am so glad that you guys had a great time! Wish I could have been there and got me some of that. . . now get out in those garages and get those machines cleaned up and get some maintenance done so we can get in some winter riding.

Yes, Marci is very sore today from hitting a tree. She said something about a "hidden" rock under some leaves that threw her off the fire lane and head first into a tree. Of course I did not see any leaves out there nor any dead deer for that matter. She had a tough day, it was the first time for her to ride with all of the leaves on the trail and it made her a bit unsteady. She nearly burned through a brand new set of brake pads that day. She is a tough kid. She wrecked a few times, got real lost once(due to a miss communication between Chris and I)but all the way home she kept thanking me for taking her.
On that note, I would like to thank the members of the club for making her feel welcome and being patient with her. It means the world to her(believe me) to be able to ride with you guys. It made her day to have Chris drop in behind her and film her with his helmet cam. Thanks Chris. Thanks everybody. Good club, good people, good riding.
It would have been fun to ride with ya again. Maybe next time I'm down. However, I'm not sure I ever rode "with" you, I just tried to keep up with your pace. Later dude!
That was a great day and what a surprise it was to see XR400man(thanks for the flash back ride on the 400)Bret has been practicing.He pulled out on me in the tight woods off Tree Rd.I got some good shots of most everyone video coming soon.
My apologizes to Marci that made me feel bad and it will never happen again.Now all we need to do is get Johnny to follow Marci's lead and stay put when you get lost. HA HA

Brett, I surely hated missing you. I didn't know you were coming. I am glad that you had a great time and the next time, let me know you are coming up and we'll ride again. We had some great rides and there are even a few more new trails that we added since you left. It was an awesome day for riding. With some limited hunting in season we got a little later than normal start. We headed out with 13 riders. We made it to the end of the super short by lunch time. A few in the group were on a limited schedule and opted to fore go lunch and continue riding. Five of us rode on to the end of Buckeye Ridge. I have to figure out how to skip Buckeye. Don't try to tell me I will just have to have you show me. Any ways we took the roads back to get those that needed to leave on their way. Three of us grabbed a quick sandwhich and headed out on the long course only to make it to the Hwy 7 gate before heading back to the truck. Great day to ride with a great bunch of friends.
