There is a new web forum (like KTMTalk.com) that has been created for single track enthusiasts.

Our own Chris White has created it with the help from Jeff Gaston and others. It is "Single Track Planet", and is located at: http://www.singletrackplanet.com

Chris and his helpers are just getting started, and are doing a great job. Check it out!

Thanks,

Jim Cook

Just in case anyone is worried that the Ross Property will be highlighted on singletrackplanet.com....
Chris told me that the Ross Property would not be discussed on the forum there, unless it was something about our enduro.

Jim thanks for posting this over here. I have been meaning to get over and post to this thread for a while.

Regarding any doubts you guys may have about me posting about the Ross property on my sight, let me ease your burden a bit.

I have been a member of KTMtalk.com for around 4 years now. I have been riding at Ross for almot the same amount of time but mostly I ride at Brock Creek. Brock Creek is a public area on public land, I have done many ride reports about Brock Creek and have organized a number of rides there in the past 4 years. Now, here's the good stuff. I have NEVER once posted any directions, organized any rides or post one single ride report on the Ross property. With that said, I hope some of you can clear your minds and not worry about that happening through me. I am good friends with several members of the club, I enjoy riding at Ross and would like to see the place preserved as much as each of you.

With that said....I had a GREAT time at the TR race\. You guys did a great job on the track all around. I have only run 3 Enduros but it was by far my Favorite.

Now about my site.

I talked with some of you at the race about what we are trying to achieve through the forums.

We would like to create the first and only Nationwide organization that is dedicated to the preservattion and proliferation of deicated, legal Single Tracks in National Forest riding areas. Its pretty much that simple. We want to provide a place for all of the dirt bike based clubs to come together and organize as well as share information on working with the FS, laying out sustainable singletracks, educating the ST riders etc... We need people to step up and get involved with helping us create this orgazization. We want experienced folks, from around the country, on the board of the 501(c)3. We want people that have a history of working with the FS and getting things done. We need all sorts of folks to come over and get involved from just forum members to people who really want to see something like this happen and are willing to dive in head first and help drive this thing to make it reality. We have provided the idea and the means but we cannot do all the work by ourselves.

I offer each and everyone of you an open invitation to be as involved as you want to be. Come on over and give us input as well!

Thanks all,
Keep it on one wheel!
Chris White
