Arkansas Dirt Riders February 03, 2009 Meeting Minutes
President Bruce Yother opened the meeting at American Pie Pizza in Maumelle @ 7pm
Bruce stated that he had purchased the old club canopy. He also stated that he had sent his KTM 250 off to become a 300!
VP Minute: Lynn said that the USFS @ Paris, AR was discussing trail maintenance, reroutes and flagging at the Mt. Magazine riding area. The area has become to unusable to use for the dual sport event.
Sec. Min: Jim talked about the Ross trails and the new sections that were being added for the upcoming event. To learn these sections one would have to come and work/ride with ADR members. We have not yet formally started work days at Ross until the HS is completed.
Tres Min: Steve told that the account had been transferred from Randy to himself. Account balance at the time of transfer was $14,577.10. Treasurers report was moved to be accepted and seconded. Majority approved.
There were 27 people in attendance with two new folks: Nicholas and Dan.
New bike section: Chris Butler added a 250XC Gas Gas to his stable of bikes.
There was no old biz. New Business: March 15th Hare Scramble at Amity, AR. Bobby Diffee reported that workday would be Sunday Feb. 8th and Sat 21st if needed. Time set to start at 9am at the camp ground. Needed club chainsaw for this workday. There is going to be concessions at the event. No pre-riding the course. Arrows have been ordered, but if they do not arrive a plan is in place to use the club Moose arrows. Arrowing will be March 7th, with final preps on March 14th. Bruce is going to post the flyer on the ADR website. There a Vintage class added to the HS.
Steve Pierce is looking into getting ADR logos for the club trailer. He is going to check with Randy Harmon and Sherman McCoy. Prices, sizes, etc.
The club ride is Feb. 14 at Ross. WUDI Ride is Feb 27 thru March 1 at White Rock. There is a HS at Texarkana Feb 22.
