One of my friends in the Shreveport area, Jerry Currington, had a bad crash on his Harley. As a result of the wreck, he doesn't think he will ever be able to properly ride his CRF450X again.
Jerry routinely helps me run my check(s) at the TrainRobbers Enduro, and has ridden with us many times. His bike is the one with the cammo black and green graphics that you have seen around the campground in the past.
He got into Harleys in a big way, and coming up to work our check has been nearly all the dirt riding the CRFX has had in the last two years.
Jerry has the Baja Designs kit installed on the CRF450X, and paid sales tax and license fees to street legal the bike. Most of the miles on the bike are the result of him using the bike to commute the 6 miles from his house to work.
The bike is in excellent condition, except for a problem with the electric start, and has not been run hard. Jerry has been very thorough and almost anal retentive in his maintenance of the bike.
The bike has all the guards and more accessories.
The last tires he bought from me for the bike was a matched pair of DOT legal Dunlop 606 knobbies.
Jerry is asking $3500 for the bike.
