Train Robber's Enduro

June 8th near Bismarck, Arkansas. This will be a traditional enduro open for everyone to come and ride. You don't even have to have time keeping equipment if you want to ride the trail riders class. But for those that are more hard core timekeepers, this is your type event. We will have everything but sand for you to test your skills. For those that are riding the trail riders class, this is not a powder puff class. You will ride the short course - some 50+ miles and if you want, you can continue to ride the long course with the big boys.
The Arkansas Dirt Riders invite you to come out and have a great day in the woods with us and ride some of the best trails in the south. June 8th, first rider out at 8:01am Sunday morning. Hope to see you there.

Hello, my name is AJ Goin.

Hello, my name is AJ Goin. I raced the Train robbers last weekend, and had a blast on the trails, I was wondering who I need to contact to be able to come out again in the near future and ride and camp.

Thanks for any info you can give.

Well AJ here is the scoop.

Well AJ here is the scoop. The Land Mgr has given ADR the ok to put in trails on their land and to hold this event once a year. They usually don't like to have a lot of guys showing up in mass and riding. But since The Arkansas Dirt Riders work on the trails year round and ride year round you could become a member and could help us out and get to ride as well. Besides, we change the direction of the trail year to year and we would hate to see you coming at us the wrong way!
The land is under scruntiny right now for the different types of useage and we are trying to keep folks from coming back and riding in an area they don't know much about. So to answer your question, the only way for ADR to keep putting on this quality event is to manage the useage as much as we can and to encourage as many that want to ride there to be a member and help work on the trail- as they do get trashed by the logging throughtout the year. You also probably noticed the gates at the end of the propoerty as you came and left, well those could be closed at any time to control useage and I would hate for you to drive out there and the gate be closed by the land owners! Again being an ADR member would allow you access to that situation. I hope I have beat around your questions enough. Drop one of us an email if you are interested and I am glad you enjoyed the event.

Thanks, that was the answer

Thanks, that was the answer I was looking for. I inquired about this in a different forum, only to find short answers and hostility.

I would be more than happy to come help out on a work day a couple of times if it allowed us to come enjoy the land a couple of times a year. Its a bit of a long haul for my Dad and I, so that kind of limits how much we could come out, mainly due to gas and diesel prices.

Thanks again, I will be dropping you a email with in the week.
