Welcome visitors and club members. This is the quasi-new website. It's not as finished as I would like for it to be, but arkansasdirtriders.com is pointed at it, so let me try to explain what you can (and can't) do at the moment.

First thing, you will need to register. This can be done here. Once you have registered I will assign ADR member status to you as soon as I recognize you. If you choose the same username that you used on the old bulliten board system it will be easy for me to give permissions.

Next are the currently working features. There are new forums. We have the same categories as before and if you are a member you will be allowed access to the member forum as well as the general, buy/sell, and announcement forums. A very handy feature of this software is if a message is posted to the forum is very important (an announcement, or some breaking news) it can easily be placed on the front page as well. I will give the ability to do this action to those who ask for it, and I'll try to explain how to do it (don't worry, it's very easy).

We also have an events calendar that I've been trying to keep up to date. I've been putting everything that ends up in the meeting agendas and minutes, as well as anything else I can remember on the calendar. I think that I'll be handling that, but if anyone else feels like they want to help out I'll be glad to show them how to work the events calendar.

I've started working on an image gallery feature. It's not where I'd like it to be but it can be used. If you'd like to use it and are having a hard time figuring it out just ask me and I'll try to help you out as quick as I can.

There are several things that I simply have not gotten to. One of which is the look of the website. Right now it's pretty vanilla, I'm no artist but I'm sure I can do a little better than what we see now. It's likely that the look will change over time. If you don't like it be sure to bark at me, maybe I'll listen...

This is all for now. I'm going to make a semi-permanent link to the old forums until the next meeting (1st tuesday in August), where I'll try to explain to everyone what's going on and what I'm trying to do.
