It was pretty cool it's nice to see the pro riders crash.
I have lots of photos and a short video of Knight I just have to figure out how to get it in here.
For those that didn't get to make the Endurocross in Guthrie freaking Oak-al-homa, you missed a great event! Oh sure, we sat there all afternoon and night making verbal changes to the course, but it was so cool. Guys that you sort of looked up to as your hero of this venue or that one, were so outta shape or crashed big time or got stuck or went swimming at the most unopportune times! Guys and gals it was so cool. Sort of makes me look pale in comparison to the dude that came up with that amount of torture. Dude either doesn't ride bikes or he really wants to hate on some one in the off road community.
Made me a new hero friend in the Knightster. He sat with us for quite some time visiting about anything we asked of him. Our local boys didn't fair so well, Arm pump, hard course, competition, sun got in my eyes the bike wasn't running very well, had a small "stone" in my boot, or this desk job stinks! There again, some of your national heros didn't bone up either. Mr. Enduro Lafferty rides woods, Zip Ty was tied with a corner comiong out of the water, Aaron should have stayed on a trails bike and local OK national hero should have tried a trails bike.
But for the most part it was a lot of fun and I, for one, am glad I got to go. Good crew of ADR folks that traveled too. And the moveies weren't bad coming home either.
Sounds like you guys had a good time. That is cool that David came up and chatted with you guys. Maybe next year. Chris you can post up a few of your pictures on the images page. I don't know anything about videos.
can we put more than one pic. in at a time this sucks
You can't post more than one picture at a time so just pick out the really cool ones or the ones that we might know the riders. There are lots of websites out there that will let you host your photo gallery for free and you can just post up a link to it. I don't know how to use them but there are several club members like Jim Cook that do. Here is a link to the main event. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6uFzcBSWcg
That is what it looked like but it just not the same.Something about hearing the bikes BOUNCING of the rev limiter, crowed cheering, smashing of bikes and all.
That guy could not been more than ten feet from us.
is one of the places you load your photos. Check out these. http://s18.photobucket.com/albums/b144/Okieangler/
