After a short hiatus from riding (32 or so yrs.) I decided it was time to have fun again.. Went out & bought my son & myself a couple of used dirt bikes, XR250 & XR400 to get back to it. Riding places are not as easy to find as they used to be, with everything being gated off etc.. I heard about a public place off Garrison road & was wondering if anyone knew of this. Would alo be interested in any other areas or group outings etc that we could attend.. I found about this org on the day of the meeting.. I assume the meetings are open & I plan to attend next month's.
Thanks for the info. We have signed my son up to do AHSCS Series to see how it goes.. Look forward to meeting some new folks.
Our club puts on the Superlift event on the AHSCS. There is no better way to learn about a type of racing than to see how one is put together.
Ron we welcome anyone to the meeting. Sounds like you and your son got yourselfs some bullet proof bikes. Those XR's are tough. We have a lot of racers in the club but we usually try to schedule at least one fun ride each month. The January ride was on New Years day.
